PETER’S STORY

Prior to practising as an independent arbitrator, Peter was a partner at King & Spalding (Singapore) and Squire Patton Boggs (Hong Kong). He has held various leadership roles, including head of Asia disputes practice, global head of Greater China disputes practice and head of office, as a partner at various US international law firms. He has practised in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

Peter has been involved in international arbitration for more than 30 years and has represented clients in some of the largest arbitrations in Asia, including five matters involving multi-billion US dollar claims.

He has acted both as arbitrator and counsel in proceedings conducted under the rules of the ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC, ICDR, AAA, NAI, KCAB and UNCITRAL, with appointments spanning shareholders’ disputes, joint ventures, private equity investments, energy and construction projects.
