Peter Chow
International Arbitrator & Arbitration Counsel
Peter Chow is an international arbitrator and arbitration advocate with substantial experience in high-stakes, complex international disputes across Asia and globally. His practice encompasses disputes involving energy and natural resources, oil and gas, infrastructure and construction, technology projects, shareholders’ disputes, private equity investments, and other major commercial matters.
Prior to practising as an independent arbitrator and counsel, Peter was a partner at King & Spalding (Singapore) and Squire Patton Boggs (Hong Kong). He has also held a number of senior leadership positions within international law firms, including Head of Asia Disputes, Global Head of Greater China Disputes, and Managing Partner of regional offices. He has practised in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Peter has been involved in international arbitration for more than 30 years and has represented clients in some of the largest arbitrations in Asia, including five matters involving multi-billion US dollar claims.
He has acted both as arbitrator and counsel in proceedings conducted under the rules of the ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC, ICDR, AAA, NAI, KCAB and UNCITRAL.

Peter is a Chartered Arbitrator and serves on the panels of major arbitral institutions across multiple jurisdictions. He is regularly appointed as sole arbitrator, presiding arbitrator, co-arbitrator and emergency arbitrator.
